*Note: As of April 2020, due to guidelines regarding social distancing, until further notice our NEO and NEBO orientations will be presented virtually through WebEx only. A member of our Human Resource team will send those registered the details via email the day before your orientation.
New Employee Orientation (NEO)
Official welcome to MSU and introduction to working in the university system. Information will be provided by University Human Resources, University Information Technology, the Office of Institutional Equity & Voice Center, Safety and Risk, University Police, the MSU website as well as many other topics. Any questions regarding employment will also be addressed.
Our recruitment team will send those registered the WebEx details via email.

New Employee Benefit Orientation (NEBO)
This session is being provided in order to help new employees best utilize their benefits package and answer questions. Questions such as, what are; the required benefits, available retirement options, and who are the health and dental providers. Also being discussed, are the available additional optional benefits, that include; flex plans and life insurance that are available to employees.

- Find your position type and view the six videos under that heading.
**Don’t forget to go to https://choices.mus.edu/ and select your Benefits before your 30th calendar day of employment!
