Montana State University’s Office of International Programs will be hosting events to recognize International Education Week (IEW), November 14-17, 2022. IEW is a nationwide event and is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Monday, November 14th

Lunch and Learn: Unpacking Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice 12 - 1 pm in Alumni Lounge, lunch provided

Featuring Shihua Brazill, Ph.D. from the Center for Faculty Excellence unpacking diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice with cultural humility

Global Cultures Showcase: 5:30 pm in NAH 201, Inspiration Hall, appetizers provided

Featuring cultural music, dance, and food!

Presentations by international Community Solutions Program (CSP) fellows

Presentations of music &/or dance by the Bangladesh Student Association, African Student Association, Indian Student Association and the MSU chapter of UNA-USA

Ask student abroad alum questions about their travels and experiences

 

Wednesday, November 16th

Study Abroad Mixer: 5:30 pm in Romney 007

Network with international exchange students, study abroad alum, and future study abroad students

Thursday, November 17th

International Film Night: 5 pm in the Black Box Theater

Featuring internationally focused films by MSU alum & others

Q & A session with the filmmaker(s)
