The Japan Studies Program (JSP) at Tokyo International University (TIU) is a culturally immersive language program. Students live with a Japanese host family for the entire semester, and spend 12 hours a week in Japanese language courses. In addition to the intensive language courses, students also take elective courses which are taught in English or Japanese. The JSP can accommodate all levels of Japanese language students, from beginning to advanced. About 30 to 35 students attend per semester.
