Jolene Cram is the Food Safety Project Manager for a multi-state initiative of the MEP National Network, of which MMEC is a part.  Jolene is a second generation Idaho native with over 23 years of experience in the food industry working with companies such as J.R. Simplot Company, HB Specialty Foods, and Kraft Heinz Company. She has particular expertise in Food Safety & Quality, New Product Introduction, Research and Development, New Product Processes, Project Management, Stage-Gate®, Ideation and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Previous positions held include Senior Food Scientist, Director of Development, Business Process and Portfolio Manager, and R&D Manager. Jolene was most recently the pilot plant manager for the University of Idaho Food Technology Center in Caldwell, ID. Jolene is also the owner of Pharaoh Innovation, LLC, a food consulting company, and has multiple food safety certifications through various certifying bodies (see list of credentials below).

 Jolene assists in connecting food manufacturers and growers in Montana, Idaho, and Washington with Food Safety Specialists. As part of the MEP National Network, MMEC serves as a trusted advisor to help manufacturers comply with regulations and deadlines of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). By working with other states, we are able to conduct more outreach in a shorter amount of time, resulting in a safer food supply. Jolene works from an office at TechHelp's Headquarters (Idaho’s equivalent to MMEC) in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University near her Caldwell, Idaho home.
