The School of Music is committed to helping it's students through this time of Remote Learning. This page provides some of the many resources available to Music Students, as well as information from the Center for Disease Control and the Montana Department of Health. 

Fall 2020 - Concert/Lecture Attendance Policy - (Fall 2020 - ONLY)

The requirement for Music Majors and Minors will follow the policy as stated in the Music Major Handbook. Concert Attendance for Fall 2020 will remain at 20 concerts/lectures for Music Majors. Music Majors may complete up to 40 concerts/lectures during Fall 2020. Music Students are required to attend the Music Major Seminar (11:00-12:00 on Thursday) either in-person or via webex. Attendance will be taken via webex login and in-person Cat Card Swipe In addition, students will watch prerecorded or streaming concerts and lectures (45 min or more in length) provided by the SOM and/or available online from other sources. Please visit our Fall 2020 - Concert/Lecure Attendance Policy page for full policy and list of suggested online concerts and lectures.

Advising

Advising for Summer and Fall semesters is underway. If you have questions for your advisor, or are unsure who your advisor is and how you should contact them, please visit our Music Advising Page. 

Software Trials Available

Many of the trials below are free for the next 30-90 days. See the specific websites for more information. A number of software is available to MSU students at no cost. You will be redirected to an MSU site with more information on how to download and log in. This is not a complete list, and companies are announcing new deals daily. For software not listed here, please check the developers website for more information.
