Turn up the Volume for Lifelong Learning
Staying mentally, socially, and physically active helps combat an aging mind. Yet,
as nature would have it, with age often comes hearing loss.
Hearing half a presentation can be a frustrating experience. Having to repeat yourself
can be just as maddening.
Help our learners clearly hear the lifelong learning programs they cherish. Support OLLI at MSU on Giving Day 2021 (February 11-12). Proceeds will help OLLI at MSU purchase mobile audio enhancement devices to use
during our lifelong learning classroom and travel programs.
Recording of "How We Work Together to Find Common Ground" with Senator Jon Tester,
January 15, 2021
Montana Senator Jon Tester discusses some of the challenges for the 117th Congress
in a time of social division and media mistrust, as well as opportunities to move
America forward with respect and common purpose. He also talks about his recently
published book, "Grounded: A Senator's Lessons on Winning Back Rural America," and
share his perspective on issues important to rural and working class Americans.
Our conversation with Senator Tester is part of our Friday Forum series. Friday Forums offer presentations and lively discussions on timely topics.
They are free and open to the public, offered in partnership with OLLI at MSU and
the Bozeman Library Foundation.
Courses are member-only programming that last over several sessions. They usually
use a lecture
format but offer plenty of time for
questions and discussion. There are no grades, tests, or papers. See current courses.
