Director of Housing/Residence Life
In his role as the Director of Housing/Residence Life, he is responsible for the Residence Life Department, as well as Family & Graduate Housing. As he directs and manages the MSU Housing Enterprise, he works with the staff that delivers programs and services which enhance the academic and social success of the students living on campus.
He received a Masters degree in Public Administration from Montana State University
in May of 2000.
Assistant Director of Residence Life
In his role as Assistant Director of Residence life, James supervises the tasks and staff of the Central Office Administrative Staff as well as the front desk operations and the Residence Life Custodial team. He also oversees the development and implementation of the marketing efforts, assignments and applications as well as the administrative functions of the Residence Life department.
James holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Before serving as the Assistant Director he was a Resident Director for 5 years at MSU and worked as an Assistant Residence Life Coordinator at Kansas State University.
Assistant Director of Residence Life
Korrin grew up in Boise, Idaho, but now claims Bozeman as home. She graduated from Montana State University with a double major in Cell Biology & Neuroscience and Spanish Language in 2011. She is currently finishing up her Master's degree in Public Administration here at MSU.
Korrin is entering into her 10th year at MSU, and her sixth year as a professional staff member. Prior to serving as an Assistant Director of Residence Life, she worked as an Area Coordinator in Residence Life, in the Office of Admissions as the Assistant Director for New Student Programs, and in Residence Life as a Resident Director and the Coordinator of Staff Training and Selection.
In her free time, Korrin loves to run and hike the trails around Bozeman, listen to live music, and spend time with her family. She loves working on campus with students and helping them find their place.
Jocelyn grew up in Missoula, Montana. She graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theater with an emphasis in management. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree Jocelyn worked for the Missoula Children’s Theater for three years, traveling the country in a Little Red Truck.
While this is Jocelyn’s first year at Montana State University as an Area Coordinator, it is her fifth year as a professional in Residence Life. Most recently she worked at Eastern Washington University and before that Midland University in Nebraska.
Jocelyn is beyond excited to be back in Montana and working with the students at MSU. When not hosting programs you might find Jocelyn out on the nearby trails exploring all that Bozeman has to offer or searching for the best cup of coffee in town!
Emily, a Utah native, completed her Bachelor’s Degree in History at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana. She has a Master of Arts in Educational Administration; Adult and Postsecondary Education from the University of Wyoming, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Adult and Higher Education here at MSU. Emily is passionate about student conduct and enjoys hearing her student’s personal histories. She is excited to be back in Big Sky country and eager to help her students succeed!
Blake was raised in Fairfield, Montana and graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Development in 2011 and a Master's degree in Adult & Higher Education with a focus on Student Affairs in 2015.
This will be Blake's 14th year at MSU and his first as an Area Coordinator. Blake is also serving as the Coordinator of Student Leadership & Engagement. Before that, Blake worked as a student desk clerk, served on the Residence Hall Association Executive Board, and was a full-time Administrative Associate for the Residence Life office.
Blake is looking forward to working with students to make their time at MSU as memorable as his was and is excited about the upcoming year. In his spare time, Blake enjoys exploring the beauty of the Gallatin Valley, reading a good book, and relaxing with friends and colleagues.
