One goal of Montana Science Olympiad is to introduce youth who are interested in science to the myriad opportunities available to them after high school, whether that is by studying STEM or other fields in college; through an internship or apprenticeship; or by entering one of the amazing STEM career pathways in Montana.

On this page we share interesting and inspiring stories of Montana State University researchers (including some MTSO volunteers and alumni.) Enjoy!

Dr. Selena Ahmed: Family- and student-oriented posters about COVID-19

Selena AhmedAlex AdamsThank you to Dr. Selena Ahmed of MSU's Department of Health and Human Development for sharing these resources with us.  As part of an interdisciplinary MSU-wide project "Expanding Screening Capacity to Enhance Montana’s COVID-19 Response Capabilities" supported by the Governor's Office, Dr. Ahmed (left photo), Dr. Alex Adams (right photo) and many others are engaging with Montana communities to create educational materials that increase awareness of COVID-19. They are particularly interested in developing educational materials based on feedback from community members, who specifically identified the need for resources tailored to families as well as health messaging for students.

The research team created these fun downloadable posters. Click each small image to get a large poster you can download and print out. Please help spread the word!
