  • Sack Lunch Seminar: November 7th 12:00pm-1:00pm in SUB 168
    • "Women, Wake Up! Buddhism, Gender, & the Enlightenment Experience" Karen DeCotis (Zen Priest) and Holly Grether (Assistant Teaching Professor) will discuss the role of women in Buddhism; specifically, attitudes toward women in early Buddhist texts and various women in the historical Buddha's life.
  • Interfaith Forum: November 7th 12:00pm-1:00pm
    • "Agriculture and Religion" Join the Gallatin Interfaith Association for an interfaith forum with an MSU faculty member and a panel of local religious leaders examining the intersections of religions with various fields of study. The panel will be discussing agriculture and religion, with MSU professor of weed and invasive plant ecology Fabian Menalled who focuses on the ecological basis of sustainable agriculture. Event will be held at Resurrection University Catholic Parish 1725 S. 11th Ave.
  • Dinner and Dialogue: November 14th 4:00pm-6:00pm in SUB 233
    • Microaggressions in Higher Education": In collaboration with American Indian/Alaska Native Student Success, Counseling & Psychological Services, EMPower and the Office of International Programs, TRIO SSS co-hosts Dinner & Dialogue Workshops designed to help discuss potential changes, challenges, and strategies you may be experiencing on campus. These workshops are an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to meet with one another, enjoy a meal together, and gain additional support, resources, and skills to enhance your experience at MSU.
  • Indian Education Efforts in Montana: November 14th 4:30pm-6:30pm in Leon Johnson 339
    • "Indigenizing our school systems: Indian education efforts in Montana"  Presented by Mike Jetty, Indian Education Specialist, Montana Office of Public Instruction. This event will highlight best practices as outlined in Indian Education for All. A reception with light refreshments will follow the presentation.
