About Us:

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 26,000 firms, including over 6,500 of America’s leading general contractors, and over 9,000 specialty-contracting firms. More than 10,500 service providers and suppliers are also associated with AGC, all through a nationwide network of chapters. The state of Montana has one AGC chapter designated as the Montana Contractors Association (MCA) which includes members that represent the majority of Montana’s construction industry leaders.

Our club is focused on improving CE and CET students experience at MSU by providing:

  • Networking with local contractors

  • Tours of local job sites & construction material plants

  • Guest lectures by construction professionals

  • Community activities

  • Resume builders before career fairs

  • Social events with chapter members (homecoming float, member dinners)

Membership Info:

The time commitment in AGC varies greatly. Our peak time is around the Spring and Fall Career Fairs when we have info sessions and resume builder workshops.  The rest of the year, we have monthly meetings interspersed with job site tours.  Our club is always looking for new members. If interested in joining, email any officers and/or come to any of our meetings to learn more. The member fee is $10 per semester or $20 per academic year. Along with the fee, an auction item is required for the MCA convention in January.
