Cathy manages all media and governmental relations for MSU, directs the Office of Communications and Public affairs, and is the MSU spokesperson and lobbyist. With the university since 1981, she previously taught courses in the College of Engineering and the College of Business, and served as the Director of Employee Relations and Services and University Relations. She has represented MSU during the last four sessions of the Montana Legislature.

Jodie is a Montana State University alum from the class of 1993 and a former ASMSU president. She manages the Parent/Family Association and handles arrangements for the President's Advisory Council and Council of Elders. She plans and implements MSU for a Day trips throughout the state and works with the community on various projects. Her main responsibility and passion is building relationships between the university and the people of Montana.

Jay is the lead fiscal manager and accountant for OCPA and is responsible for all financial and personnel affairs. He has been with MSU for several years and was formerly with the Office of Sponsored Programs. Jay is originally from Havre, MT and is a graduate of MSU.

Ashley is an MSU graduate with a B.A. in political science. She grew up in the Rockies spending time between Littleton, CO and Helena, MT. She handles the press releases, maintains the news database, and has a supporting role in many of the department's day-to-day functions. She previously interned for the department in the 2007 Montana State Legislature.

Julie has a background in higher education and marketing, with over 15 years of experience. She is responsible for developing the concepts and strategies for university marketing programs. She chairs the Marketing Advisory Committee and works to coordinate campus efforts, promote MSU to our various constituents, and create programs to enhance MSU's image and awareness.

Lee Cook is a marketing specialist and has five years of experience in the marketing industry. Originally from Bozeman, she obtained a B.S. in Journalism, an M.A. in Marketing Communication. At MSU she works closely with key constituents on campus and the rest of the staff to create strategies and materials that promote and enhance MSU's image.

Tracy is a writer/editor with more than 10 years experience as a reporter and editor at daily newspapers in Montana, Idaho and Washington. He has also worked as a community relations specialist for a hospital group. Tracy is a Bozeman native and an MSU graduate.

Schmidt is a native of Denver, Colo. with both a bachelor's (sociology/social work) and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Wyoming. She has worked as a reporter and editor at newspapers in Wyoming, Montana and Ohio. She also has worked in public relations firms in Seattle and San Diego and freelanced for many years. She has worked at the MSU News Service since 1994. Schmidt covers the humanities including the College of Arts and Architecture and portions of the College of Letters and Science. She also writes about the MSU administration and is the editor of the news column on the MSU home page.

Evelyn is a writer and editor. She produces features stories, press releases and writing to support publications. Originally from Iowa, she graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science. She was a writer and editor at daily, weekly and twice-weekly newspapers in Iowa before moving to Montana to write for the Billings Gazette. She has been at MSU since 1996, working for Communications Services and the Office of the Vice President for Research, Technology Transfer and Creativity.

Carol is a writer, photographer and editor. Her chief duties are to produce news for Montana and regional media and to contribute stories and photos for MSU publications. Before coming to MSU, she worked as an editor for a national horse magazine in St. Louis, as a reporter and later photographer at a daily newspaper in Utah, and as managing editor of a weekly newspaper in Bozeman. She received her Master of Science from MSU in Technology Education.

Kelly is the MSU News Service photographer and an adjunct faculty member of the Media and Theater Arts department. He is a Montana native and earned his bachelor’s degree in photography from MSU in 1995. He has worked for newspapers in Montana and Nevada and was a corporate photographer in Seattle. In addition to his work at MSU he is a regular freelance contributor to international and national magazines.

Sandy has been with University Printing Services since 1981. She is responsible for printing all of the black and white jobs on the high speed Xerox Docutech and digital printers. She supervises two employees, controls paper inventory, back up for bindery operations and banner bookkeeping operations.

Mike is the sole press operator in Printing Services in charge of one color and two-color offset press runs. He prints the MSU envelopes, letterhead and business cards for all campus. Mike is that hard-to-find press operator who still understands and appreciates the art and the craft of offset printing.

Conrad is the person to contact for questions on sending digital files direct to University Printing Services for maximum quality output. He is responsible for outputting all color jobs to the Xerox Docucolor printer and large-format color imaging to the EPSON Stylus printer. He also manages press files designated for the digital plate maker.
