The Montana State University International Food Bazaar is an annual event that celebrates the diversity of the MSU student population though a display of cuisine and culture. Now in its 35th year, the International Food Bazaar welcomes nearly 3,000 MSU and Bozeman community members for an evening of delicious food and captivating entertainment from over 25 countries and student organizations. The street bazaar atmosphere encourages visitors to sample food from around the globe while interacting with MSU students. Come hungry, because you will leave wishing you had room for more!

The International Food Bazaar showcases cuisine and food items from around the globe. Each year, there are over 25 different countries represented, with well over 50 different food items available. There is a small entrance fee to enter the ballrooms and visit the Food Bazaar. In addition, food tickets will need to be purchsed to be used to buy food items from the various booths.

Upon entering, you will be emersed in a street bazaar atmosphere with rows of booths set up, each showcasing a different country's cuisine. Booths will be selling their food items within the range of 2 to 6 tickets per item or plate. The small plates encourge guests to sample items from many booths. We ask for your help in selecting the People's Choice Award for Best Booth by voting in the Union Market entertainment area.

Outside of the ballrooms there is a seating area for dining, as well as a seating area in the Union Market where live entertainment will be featured throughout the evening. Performances include various dancing and musical acts from cultures around the world.

Ticket Information

Entrance fees:

  • Adults = $5
  • Students ages 10-18 = $3
  • Children under 10 = FREE
  • MSU Student with Cat Card = FREE

Food tickets:

  • $1 per ticket
  • Food items will be sold for 1 to 6 tickets per item or plate

The International Food Bazaar is always a fun-filled event, but it takes the help of many amazing people to make it a success! There are numerous ways to get involved. Check out our options below!

  • Host a Country Booth: Any student organization or club across campus is welcomed to host a booth to feature a country's cuisine. 

  • Volunteer: Students at MSU not affiliated with a club hosting a booth, MSU faculty and staff, and Bozeman community members are all welcome! We always need extra hands preparing food in the kitchen, setting up for the event, or helping everything run smoothly during the event.
