The Office of Community Involvement will sponsor a free public lecture, "A 9/11 Confession: A 10-year Retrospective of Aiding Families of the Twin Towers Tragedy" Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in SUB Ballroom C.

Montana counselor and Red Cross mental health disaster worker Maureen McInnis will share her experiences working as a volunteer - counseling families and individuals - in the aftermath of the fall of the World Trade Center in 2001.

The lecture will be accompanied by a "Be Red Cross Ready" disaster preparedness presentation by the Montana Red Cross that will offer information on how best to survive and recover from emergencies that strike here at home. A question-and-answer session with McInnis will follow the preparedness segment.
