The Women's Center will host a sack lunch seminar, "Native Women Warriors, Historical and Modern," Wednesday, Nov. 9, at noon in SUB 168.

The seminar, presented by Veronica Maday, a graduate student at MSU who served in the U.S. Army for five years, will explore historical Native women warriors, gender roles and their effect and influence in conflicts of the United States. Maday will also examine Native Women veterans and soldiers in modern times and will look specifically at identity, challenges and accomplishments.
