On Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, campus and community volunteers at more than 100 college and universities across the nation will read the names of the more than 6,200 casualties of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF), now called Operation New Dawn. Montana State University was chosen to represent Montana for the event, Veterans Roll Call.

Veterans Roll Call will take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Leigh Lounge. A remembrance ceremony, hosted by Senator Jon Tester, will begin at 4 p.m.

The reading of the names will take nearly eight hours to complete as readers announce the names in chronological order. Campus volunteers will be needed to read the names of the fallen soldiers and with event organizing. Visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZDRHJDL to register as a volunteer.
