The Montana State University Alumni Foundation has announced the 2012-2013 recipients of the MSU Alumni Association Legacy Scholarships.

Legacy Scholarships are awarded in recognition of excellence in academics, campus involvement and leadership while attending MSU. Applicants must be a continuing student for the upcoming academic year, have at least one parent/guardian who attended MSU-Bozeman, and at least one parent/guardian must be a member of the MSU Alumni Association.

Up to ten $500 scholarships are awarded annually. The scholarships are funded by the MSU Alumni Legacy Scholarship Fund.

The recipients' hometowns, names, major and parent(s) are listed below.

Montana students:

Billings
Devan Dennehy, nursing. Daughter of Paul Dennehy.
David Walsh, physics. Son of Kathleen and John Walsh.

Bozeman
Blake Lerner, industrial engineering and Spanish. Son of Lance and Teresa Lerner.

Helena
Texel Feder, political science and liberal studies. Daughter of Kathy Merrick and Happy Feder.
Brittani Nickol, industrial engineering. Daughter of Patricia Yirsa Nickol and David Nickol.

Highwood
Sarah Blessum, liberal studies. Daughter of Jeff and Jennifer Blessum.
