The Montana State University Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in MSU's Reynolds Recital Hall.
Under the direction of Tobin Stewart, MSU professor of music, MSU's Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Beethoven, Mozart, Gounod and Marquez.
The concert will feature the two winners of the 2013 MSU student concerto competition. Bensen Lei, piano, will play the first movement of Beethoven's 3rd Piano concerto. Baritone Harlan Reidmohr will sing Mozart's "Der Vogelfanger bin ich ja" from "The Magic Flute" and "Avant de quitter" from "Faust."
Tickets for the concert are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets will be available at the door. Because space is limited, concertgoers are advised to arrive early to get a seat.
Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hal, across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
