The Montana State University Chorale, the Montanans and alumni from the MSU Chorale will perform a vocal recital, "Music Before the Parade," at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Bozeman's Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The church is located at 220 W. Main Street.

The recital will finish prior to MSU's homecoming parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. It is free and open to the public.

 Kirk Aamot, MSU music professor, will be the conductor for the event, which will be held in the renovated sanctuary of Holy Rosary. The recital will conclude with MSU Chorale alumni and current members singing Anton Bruckner's motet, "Ave Maria," and "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" by John Rutter.  Tim Bell will accompany the choir on the organ.
