The founder of fourOsix, a retail store in Helena that operates with a strong focus on community and social responsibility, will deliver the keynote speech at the 10th annual Montana State University Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship Entrepreneur Day, set for 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the MSU SUB Ballrooms.

At the event, Alex “Papu” Rincon, Jr. will present ““fourOsix—Creating Lifestyle Culture,” from 1-2 p.m. Rincon is expected to present an overview of entrepreneurship, including how to generate ideas that become a concept, and how to plan, fund, launch and grow a new business. He will also address branding, lifestyle and culture. A question and answer session will follow the presentation, which is free and open to the public.

As a lifestyle shop, fourOsix “promotes art, music, style, forward thinking and Montana living,” according to its website. The U.S. Small Business Administration named Rincon Montana’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011, and Downtown Helena Inc. honored him as Helena’s 2010 Business Person of the Year. In addition, the White House recently named Rincon a “Champion of Change.” More information about four0six is available at http://fourosix.com/.

The MSU Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship hosts Entrepreneur Day as part of its commitment to enhance entrepreneurial spirit and education in the area, as well as improve the economic development of the state. In addition to Rincon’s presentation at the event, college faculty and current business students will facilitate group workshops that are designed for high school students interested in business and the entrepreneurship program at MSU.
