Montana State University will welcome to campus hundreds of junior high and high school students from throughout the Northwest for the third annual John Deere Ag Expo and Montana FFA Foundation annual event, set for Thursday, Nov. 14, through Saturday, Nov. 16.
MSU is a co-sponsor of the event, where FFA and 4-H students from Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and North Dakota will be judged in contest categories ranging from agricultural communications to livestock judging to agriculture sales to extemporaneous speaking. The high school students will also have a variety of opportunities to learn about agriculture in Montana and to meet with MSU faculty about educational programs and future careers in agriculture.
Montana FFA Foundation organizes the expo. For FFA chapters in Montana, the three-day event will also include the Montana Leadership Conference, Montana Advanced Leadership Conference, the Chapter Presidents Conference and State Floriculture Career Development.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the John Deere Ag Expo. Individuals who would like to volunteer may sign up at http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/348487346066.
