Members of the Montana State University School of Music faculty specializing in woodwinds will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in Reynolds Recital Hall.

The recital, titled “Music of Our Time,” is a reflection of music written during the performers’ lifetimes.

Performers include: Sue Makeever, flute; Beth Antonopulos, oboe; and Susan Wadsworth, bassoon. The three all joined the MSU School of Music department as adjunct faculty in fall 2011.  They frequently perform throughout the state, playing with the Bozeman, Billings, Helena and Great Falls symphonies, as well as the Intermountain Opera.  Joining them in this recital will be faculty member Laurel Yost, piano, and Megan Makeever, guest flutist.

The performance will include works by Ingolf Dahl, Bill Douglas, Madeleine Dring, Alexei Haieff, John Harmon, Vincent Persichetti and Roupen Shakarian.

Tickets for the concert are $10 for general admission and $5 for students.  Tickets will be available at the door or online at

Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hall, across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
