Homestay families in the Bozeman area are needed July 25-Aug. 7 for 30 high school students from Okinawa, Japan, who will attend the Okinawa Global Leadership Program on the campus of Montana State University.

Host families will receive $22.50 per night per student. In return, students will need a private, quiet place to sleep and a place to hang their clothing, most meals, use of basic household facilities and transportation to and from classes each day.

"Hosting a student can provide you with insights on a culture different from your own, a refreshing curiosity about American culture, and a life-long friendship," said Janelle Rasmussen, a program director at MSU's Office of International Programs. “And, the students are a great deal of fun. Their visit will be the highlight of the summer for host families.”
