BOZEMAN -- The Montana State University Wind Symphony and University Band will present band classics during a joint concert to be given at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in Reynolds Recital Hall on the MSU campus.

The groups will perform Holst’s First Suite, Four Dances from West Side Story, the finale from Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony, American Overture for Band, and the American Emblem March. The MSU Wind Symphony and University Band are under the baton of MSU Director of Bands Nathan Stark. Mid-concert entertainment and the post-concert reception will be provided by the National Honor Band Fraternity of Kappa Kappa Psi.

Admission is $5 for students and $10 for general admission. Tickets are available online or at the door. For more information or ticket vouchers, go to bands@montana.edu. Parking at MSU is free on Sunday.

The University Band is open to students of all majors as well as members of the campus community. The Wind Symphony represents MSU’s strongest student musicians and is one of three flagship ensembles in the School of Music.

Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hall, across the street from the MSU Duck Pond.
