BOZEMAN – Montana State University’s VOICE Center has announced the online release of a new public service announcement video addressing sexual violence.

The new video was developed by the VOICE (Victim Options in the Campus Environment) Center and its Not In Our House task force. It was directed by MSU graduate Andrew Preston, who now works as a producer at KBZK, a local television station.

“Our student advocates, educators and task force members worked hard to develop the messaging beyond awareness in hopes of demonstrating how we can all be a part of the solution and encourage others to stand with them as a united front against violence in our community,” said VOICE Center coordinator Alanna Sherstad. “We’re thankful to have such incredible students at MSU who are committed to taking a stand against violence.”

In addition to the video’s online presence on the VOICE Center’s pages on Vimeo and Facebook, Sherstad said the group hopes the spot will soon be airing on KBZK, CW Montana, CBS, and hopefully ABC and FOX in the near future.
