Montana State University’s KGLT radio has received five awards in the 2015 Bozeman’s Choice Reader’s Poll.

KGLT won five out of a possible 11 awards in the Media and Info category in the poll, more than any other single media entity. The wins were in the following categories:

  • Your Choice Local Radio Station – KGLT
  • Most Luscious Radio Voice – KGLT announcer Missy O’Malley
  • Your Choice Local Radio DJ – KGLT announcer Missy O’Malley
  • Your Choice Local Radio Show – KGLT’s “The Coffee Show”
  • Radio Station We Most Need – KGLT2

According to station manager Ellen King-Rodgers, the administrative staff and 90 volunteer DJs were proud to be Bozeman’s Choice, and proud of the role they have played, and continue to play in sharing music and information with the communities KGLT serves.

“Receiving these awards reinforces the mission of KGLT -- sharing music chosen by live dj's and sharing information that is supportive to the community,” says King-Rodgers. “The station is 48 years old and is one of the last of its kind. Support such as this shows that people are members of the family that is known as KGLT.”

KGLT streams at has signals in Bozeman at 91.9 and 97.1 FM, in Livingston at 89.5 FM, in Helena at 98.1 F M and Mammoth Hot Springs at 107.1 FM.
