A team of volunteers will deliver “good neighbor bags” on behalf of the Montana State University/Bozeman Good Neighbor Committee on Saturday, Feb. 6.  The campaign will drop 250 bags on doorsteps of homes in the Greek Way neighborhood, situated between West Grant Street and West Kagy Boulevard near South Willson Avenue.

Information contained in the reusable bags will include tips on how to be a good neighbor, a community event calendar, Streamline and Skyline bus schedules, information about the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) and information about the Community Cafe.

“The good neighbor bags aim to help bridge the differences between our student residents and full-time residents by providing resources to educate the community on being good citizens and neighbors,” said Amy Kanuch, MSU community relations specialist.

This is the 11th good neighbor bag distribution by the MSU/Bozeman Good Neighbor Committee, which consists of representatives from MSU, Associated Students of MSU, the City of Bozeman, Peak Property Management, the Downtown Bozeman Association and several Bozeman business owners.  The committee has already delivered more than 5,000 bags to Bozeman households.
