Montana State University music student Zach Maurer was recently selected to participate in the conducting masterclass session at the Northwest Division of the American Choral Director’s Association conference, to be held March 3-6 in Seattle.

Maurer, a senior music education major and a member of the ACDA’s student chapter, was one of only four students from the six-state region selected to be a full participant / student conductor in the undergraduate division. He is originally from Hastings, Nebraska.

The ACDA is the leading professional organization for conductors of choral music.
