Bozeman - Keith Fisher has joined the mechanical and industrial engineering department in the College of Engineering at Montana State University.

Fisher, an assistant professor in mechanical engineering technology, has more than 20 years of industrial experience. His design experience spans several industries and applications including agriculture, food processing, construction, transportation and material handling.

Prior to joining MSU, Fisher was an assistant professor at the University of Maine. Fisher is a registered professional engineer in Maine and Idaho. He holds a master's degree in agricultural engineering from University of Idaho and is scheduled to receive his doctorate degree from the University of Idaho in 2007.
