Bozeman - Jian (Neil) Tang has joined the Computer Science Department of Montana State University's College of Engineering as an assistant professor. Tang's research interests include networking in the context of both traditional and wireless configurations. His research also addresses optimization, the task of increasing the efficiency of computer programs. Tang will teach courses in computer networks and advanced networks. He earned his doctorate degree in computer science from Arizona State University in 2006.
