BOZEMAN -- Montana State University will host a two-hour job search skills seminar from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at the Procrastinator Theater inside the Strand Union Building.

The seminar, "Job Searching at MSU and in the Bozeman Market: Set Yourself Apart from the Competition," will be hosted by staff members from MSU's Office of Human Resources; Office of Human Resources/Affirmative Action; and Career, Internship and Student Employment Services. Representatives from the Bozeman Job Service will also provide community resources for job training.

The seminar will cover current trends in the local job market and at MSU, as well as local employer information, where to search for jobs, interviewing skills and tips for writing resumes and cover letters. There will also be a question-and-answer session and door prizes. The prizes will include a free resume writing and review session with MSU's Career Services.

The seminar is free and open to the public. The theater only seats 90 people, so signing up in advance is recommended. Free parking is available after 5 p.m. in the parking lot along South Seventh Avenue, south of the Strand Union Building.

Contact either Sharon Stoneberger or Betsy Webb at MSU's human resources office to sign up for the seminar.
