MSU Libraries will celebrate National Poetry Week Monday, April 13, at 1:30 p.m. with a reading from Greg Keeler, professor of English and poet at Renne Library.

Keeler has published three books and three chapter books of poetry, produced ten tapes and CDs of his satirical songs, published many articles in popular and academic magazines and journals and produced six plays. His acrylic paintings have been exhibited at Renne Library and in galleries in and around Bozeman. In 2001, he received the Montana Governor's Award in the Humanities.

National Poetry Month, held in April, is a month-long, national celebration of poetry established by the Academy of American Poets. The concept is to widen the attention of individuals and the media to the art of poetry and to living poets.
