On Saturday, April 11, hundreds of local children will scoop up more than 6,000 "dinosaur" eggs at the Museum of the Rockies' annual dinosaur egg hunt. The hunt begins at 10 a.m., and children are encouraged to come early because of the large number of participants.

Egg hunters from toddlers to age eight will be divided by age. Children should bring a container for their eggs and dress appropriately for the weather since the hunt will be outside if weather permits.

Immediately following the egg hunt there will be a Musuem Eggstravaganza, which will include a ten-minute laser show, face painting and children's activities. Laser shows begin at 10:30 a.m. Eggstravaganza is free for Museum members or free with paid admission for non-members.

The Museum will be open Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call 994-2251.
