MSU's Leadership Institute will host a free film screening of Iron Ladies of Liberia at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the Procrastinator Theatre.

Iron Ladies of Liberia is a look behind the scenes at the rebirth of a nation and democracy in action under the hand of women determined to make history and move their country forward.

Directors Siatta Scott Johnson and Daniel Junge follow the efforts of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and her inaugural year in office as Africa's first freely elected female head of state.

Facing the task of lifting a country from debt and devastation, Sirleaf turns to a team of women, appointing them to positions such as police chief, finance minister, minister of justice, commerce minister and minister of gender.
