A workshop in Bozeman on Sept. 22 will help professionals prepare to plan and conduct an effective job search.

"Effective Job Searching Techniques for Professionals" will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce at 19th Avenue and Baxter Lane.

Registration is just $15 for the full-day workshop, which covers skills such as networking, preparing for interviews and finding hidden job opportunities. Participants also will learn to develop a resume, biography and two-minute presentation for employers. They will learn about community resources that can support job searchers. Pre-registration is required.

The instructors are Bonnie Sachatello-Sawyer, founder and executive director of Hopa Mountain, Inc., and Pat Templin, who operates Templin Associates. The workshop is sponsored by the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce, Montana State University's Extended University and Hopa Mountain.
