MSU America Reads*America Counts will hold a book fair at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. The event promotes literacy and reading in the community while making the program possible. MSU America Reads*America Counts (AR*AC) matches tutors from MSU with elementary and middle school students who need extra help in reading and math. Everyone is invited to participate in the day of performances, crafts and learning. Ten percent of any purchase made at Barnes and Noble that day will go toward the MSU AR*AC program. Tell the cashier that you support the program in order to have a portion of your purchase go towards MSU AR*AC.

The schedule of events for the book fair is as follows:

All day: Scavenger Hunt
All day: Student Art display from Art Splot
11 a.m.-noon: Equinox puppet performance
noon-1 p.m.: Story time with AR*AC tutors
