Eric Grimsrud, will deliver a lecture, "On the Urgency of Action Concerning Climate Change," at 7p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, in SUB Ballroom D.

Grimsrud graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and received a Ph.D. in-chemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1970. He has been a teacher and research scientist at several universities and was a professor of chemistry at MSU for 29 years. He has been an active participant in the field of atmospheric chemistry for more than 35 years. He presently lives near Kalispell. Grimsrud recently published a book, "Thoughts of a Scientist, Citizen, and Grandpa on Climate Change: Bridging the Gap between Scientific and Public Opinion." To learn more, visit ericgrimsrud.com.
