Montana Shakespeare in the Parks will present "All the West's a Stage" Saturday, May 8, at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Museum of the Rockies. Organizers call "All the West's a Stage" a family-friendly, 30-minute show featuring scenes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Following each presentation, the actor-educators will offer a 40-minute workshop for kids 5 to 12 years of age. The workshops start at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets to the performances are free for children 18 and under and $5 per adult. Workshops are $10 the day of the performance and $8 with pre-registration.

Children can choose from four workshops. "Green Eggs and Hamlet" teaches about Shakespearean verse, "Knap Time!" demonstrates the fundamentals of stage combat, and "From Where to Wear" educates about a theatre designer's process. Space is limited to 20 participants per workshop and pre-registration is recommended.
