Charlene A. Winters, a professor in the College of Nursing at Montana State University, recently attended the HERS Bryn Mawr Summer Institute, a residential professional development program dedicated to advancing women leaders in higher education administration.

The 72 participants selected for this year's institute, focused on women's leadership in times of crisis, represented 34 institutions from 24 states.

Winters has been a faculty member at MSU for 22 years. Her research focuses on chronic illness self-management.
