A new continuing education seminar from Montana State University set Saturday, Oct. 16, will help those retiring in 5-10 years plan for their retirement.

"Mapping Your Retirement" will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room 127 of the Engineering and Physical Science building on the MSU campus.

The seminar, offered in conjunction with Bemidji State University, focuses on finances but also covers health and lifestyle.

"Our goal is to assist people in developing a comprehensive plan for retirement," said Boyd Dressler seminar facilitator and a former professor in MSU's Educational Leadership Program. "This seminar is designed to get people thinking about and planning for a fulfilling retirement in all aspects. The seminar motivates people who are five to 10 years or sooner from retirement to really buckle down and create a personalized plan."

The cost for the seminar is $99 per person or $149 per couple.
