Montana State University's Helen E. Copeland Gallery will celebrate 10 years of the MSU School of Art's study abroad program in Europe with an exhibition, "Italia: Semester in Italy" Nov. 8-19.

The group show features drawings and photographs of 15 MSU students who spent spring 2010 semester studying in Italy. Included are images from such locations as Venice during Carnevale, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Coliseum in Rome and the Ferrari factory in Maranello. Also on display will be the students' well-worn travel journals filled with memories, maps and sketches.

The public is invited to a reception of the exhibition from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18.

MSU students who participated in the 2010 Italy Program include: Alexandra Black, Whitney Connolly, Katy Englert, Kate Habenicht, Devin Kelly, Teresa Keserich, Heather Landi, Rebecca Manning, Jesine Munson, Caroline Nelson, Jessie Paluga, Stacey Ray, Susan Torre, Taylor Schwickert and Scott Sharp.

The Helen E. Copeland Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located on the second floor of Haynes Hall in the School of Art at MSU.
