The Women's Center will host a sack lunch seminar, "World AIDS Day," Wednesday, Dec. 1, at noon in SUB 168.

At the seminar, a panel of MSU students and Bridger Clinic Health Educator, Laura Mentch, will discuss AIDS in various countries. According to UN AIDS estimates, there are currently 33.4 million people living with HIV/AIDS and 2.1 million of these are children. The recognition of World AIDS Day began in December of 1988. The event focuses on increasing awareness, fighting prejudices and improving education.
