MontanaPBS' Terra presents "Lines in the Sand" on Dec 17 at 11:30 p.m.

Can healthcare truly be transformed through the use of stem cells? This documentary addresses the nature of stem cells, their purpose, origin and future use in advanced medical treatments. The program seeks to cut through the controversy surrounding stems cells and provide individuals the information they need to decide for themselves.

Terra is a science and natural history series that presents stories that speak to the relationship between human civilization and the planet. An accessible and thought-provoking series, Terra offers a window to the natural world by exploring frontiers of research, examining applications of science, and celebrating diversity in the natural environment.

Produced in conjunction with the graduate program in Science and Natural History Filmmaking at Montana State University and Filmmakers for Conservation Ltd., Terra provides independent filmmakers and students a venue in which to present their own perspectives on ecological and environmental topics.
