MSU Food Services, Friends of Local Foods and Gallatin Valley Farm to School will sponsor the event, which brings together more than 50 local food producers, processors and ally organizations from across Montana. The purpose of the Local Food Fair is to increase awareness on campus and within the Gallatin Valley of the abundance Montana offers, allow consumers to put a face to the producers and support the efforts for a community based food system throughout the state.
In addition, Gallatin Valley Farm to School will be offering organized kids' activities from 2-3 p.m. To register a group, please contact Aubree Durfey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in the University Police parking lot located off of 7th Avenue.
