BOZEMAN - Montana State University's Extended University will offer several Web graphics courses at its Downtown Education Center this spring.

Best Practices in Web Design will run March 28 and 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students will learn how users of various demographics interact with Web sites and will learn to review design features of their own sites to enhance usability. Students will receive hand-outs and an online cheat sheet with useful links. The cost is $59.

Photoshop Intermediate is a 12-hour course that begins Tuesday, April 19, and runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Organizers say the course is ideal for students who grasp the basics of Photoshop but want to delve into the "hidden goodies" of Photoshop. The cost is $124.

Dreamweaver Basic will begin Monday, April 11, and will run on Monday and Wednesday mornings for two weeks. The course will cover how to plan and define a Web site in Dreamweaver and how to create pages, format text and define structural elements. The course will also cover how to create and apply CSS style rules and modify tables, images and links. The course costs $145. An Dreamweaver intermediate course will begin April 25.
