Montana State University Extension specialists will have a booth at the Gallatin Valley Farmers Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Saturday, July 16, to help answer questions about forestry and tree care.

Ryon Stover, Bozeman's city forester and Toby Day, MSU Extension horticulturist and Master Gardener coordinator will host the booth on July 16. They will assist with urban forestry, tree planting and pruning questions. The specialists will also provide free MSU Extension factsheets and MontGuides on various issues.

"People should bring plant samples and tree care questions, specifically about trees in the city of Bozeman," said Day.

The Gallatin County Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. through noon on Saturdays through Sept. 10. There is no market on July 23.
