~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the official website of Montana State Rodeo. Bobcat Rodeo is one of the great, storied programs in the history of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. In addition to almost 30 years of hosting the College National Finals Rodeo, MSU Rodeo teams have claimed 6 national team titles, 31 individual national championships, and a multitude of Big Sky Regional crowns. At the completion of the 2008-2009 season, the Bobcat Men's Team finished as Reserve Champions and the Women's Team finished as Champions for the Big Sky Region.
For the 2009-2010 year the MSU Rodeo team consists of 44 members, including 28 men and 16 women*. We operate under the umbrella of the department of Student Affairs, headed by Dr. Allen Yarnell with Mr. Glenn Lewis serving as our special liason to the university. The 'Cats are coached by Mike True, who is assisted by former MSU Rodeo standouts Andy Bolich, Cee Cee Tryan, and Jyme Peterson. We are ably supported by our outstanding booster organization, the C.A.T. Rodeo Scholarship Association.
* 34 of these athletes are from right here in Montana!
