The literature option is for students who wish to specialize in literary and cultural studies, especially those preparing for a broad range of careers in which the skills of textual analysis, composition and communication are important.

Literature – B.A. in English, Literature Emphasis

The Department of English at Montana State University offers a rich and challenging program taught by award-winning scholars. Literature from various eras and cultures, especially British and American literatures, both canonical and emergent, shape the undergraduate English experience.
