Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program

Complete professional school prerequisites to prepare for professional school entrance exams, as well as apply to a broad range of professional programs, including medical, dental, physician assistant and pharmacy schools.

Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate Program

As a ‘career-changing’ program, students accepted into Montana State’s Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate program have earned a non-science bachelor’s degree and have often been employed prior to deciding to pursue a career in medicine or health care. Students who apply to health professional schools after completing the program have an acceptance rate of nearly 90%, well over national rates of acceptance. That includes applications primarily to medical schools, as well as dental, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, chiropractic, optometry and pharmacy.

The program is offered through Montana State’s Health Professions Advising Office.
