Our research team specializes in the characterization of source water quality and physicochemical drinking water treatment processes. Within this area, we investigate the effects of extreme events and climatic disturbances on watersheds and drinking water system resiliency. We combine field monitoring and laboratory experiments to answer fundamental research questions, and often collaborate with water utilities and regulatory agencies. Our goal is to inform decision making, source water protection stImage with Titles and Descriptionrategies, and climate preparedness among municipal water providers.
