Extension Homecoming Awards

The award honors a faculty member from Extension who has distinguished themselves through meritorious service to Extension. It acknowledges the exceptional accomplishments of this faculty member, highlighting their significant contributions to MSUE. To be eligible for the award, the faculty member must meet three criteria: (1) be recognized nationally or internationally for their achievements, (2) have an outstanding record judged by peers, and (3) have brought distinction to MSUE through their activities.

This award recognizes an early career Extension faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in Extension Programming. The specific selection criteria for this award include exceptional interest, dedication, and/or service to MSUE and its clientele. The candidate's commitment and dedication should have significantly enriched the substance and enhanced the reputation of MSU. The award recipient will be someone who has brought distinction to MSUE through one or more of the following: (1) exemplary contributions to the quality of Extension, (2) unwavering dedication to fulfilling our goals and mission, (3) outstanding professional accomplishments, or (4) exceptional service.

This award acknowledges a non-faculty staff member (county, MSU professional, or MSU classified staff) from Extension who has demonstrated exceptional achievements in leadership, outreach, or meritorious service to MSUE. It honors one personnel member for their extraordinary contributions, which may include, but are not limited to, improving and enhancing the quality of work life in ways that significantly benefit MSUE, displaying exceptional creativity and innovation, or achieving outstanding results in areas of outreach, leadership, and service. The award recipient will be someone who has brought distinction to MSUE due to one or more of the following: (1) an exemplary record of sustained and recognized contributions to the quality of Extension, (2) unwavering dedication to fulfilling our goals and mission, (3) outstanding professional accomplishments, or (4) exceptional service.

(Does not have to be an Extension employee – can be clientele, supporter, etc.)

This award recognizes a someone whose extraordinary has significantly advanced Extension and made lasting contributions to MSU Extension. The recipient's professional, personal, civic, and philanthropic endeavors must reflect the high standards and values associated with Montana State University and Extension.Specific selection criteria encompass exceptional interest, dedication, and/or service to MSUE and the candidate’s dedication and commitment having significantly enriched the substance and contributed to the reputation of MSUE.
